Will the replica be available to purchase after the campaign ends?
No, TOMY US and TOMY UK are only accepting orders during our campaign for this limited-edition replica, which runs from September 23rd – October 23rd, 2025. Select retailers in Australia, France, and Germany will offer a limited number for purchase at a later date.

What currency will my pledge be collected in?
All campaign pledge levels and shipping fees are charged in US dollars. Payments are processed after the end of the campaign, scheduled for 5 PM UK-BST / 12 PM US-Eastern on October 23, 2025. If a payment method or bank account is based in a currency other than US dollars, the total charge will reflect the currency exchange rate on the day the payment is processed.

Do you have a warranty and/or return policy?
TOMY offers a 12-month limited warranty on crowd-funded products from the date the crowd-funded product was delivered to you under normal and intended use and service against defective workmanship and material. For more information, review the Terms and Conditions at us.tomy.com. The same terms apply to crowd-funded products pre-ordered through TOMY UK.

Will there be additional VAT or Sales Tax charges?
No. The $50 USD per unit shipping fee is inclusive of VAT and Sales Tax. No additional customs, duties, or sales tax will be charged. Products will ship DDP (direct duty paid). Shipments to backers in the UK will originate from a UK warehouse.

Is shipping to the US insured against damage in transit?
Damage in transit is not covered under the product warranty, but if your package is damaged or lost in transit, you can file a claim with UPS: https://www.ups.com/us/en/support/file-a-claim.page
Note that there are no shipper restrictions, so you would file the claim directly with UPS rather than TOMY US. In the unlikely event that UPS does not offer a full resolution, we request that customers then reach out to the TOMY US team at [email protected] to file a warranty claim.

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
When you back a Crowd-Funded Product, you are making a commitment to purchase the Crowd-Funded Product that will only be fulfilled if the minimum number of backings (the “Minimum Backing Goal”) is met for the project during the Project Backing Period (as defined below). Each Crowd-Funded Product will have its own unique duration when you can back the Crowd-Funded Product (each, a “Project Backing Period”). Once the Minimum Backing Goal is met, your backing becomes an “order” and your payment is collected at the completion of the Project Backing Period, then the Crowd-Funded Product will be made and ultimately shipped.
Minimum Backing Goal Requirement
You will provide your payment information when you back a Crowd-Funded Product, but you will not be charged at that time. You are only charged if the project reaches the Minimum Backing Goal during the Project Backing Period. The exact amount you back is the amount TOMY will collect. If the project has not reached its Minimum Backing Goal during the Project Backing Period, you will not be charged, no funds will be collected, and no money will change hands. Check the main page for the Crowd-Funded Product you backed to see if the Minimum Backing Goal has been met.
Early Reservation of Charges
In some cases, we will reserve the charge on your card. TOMY and its payment partners may authorize or reserve a charge on your payment method for any amount up to the full backing amount, at any time between your backing and the collection of funds.
Early Cancellation of Your Backing
You can cancel your backing at any time before the completion of the Project Backing Period by contacting TOMY Customer Service Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm CST at 800-704-8697 or email us at [email protected].
Revocation of Backing
We reserve the right to revoke your backing or order for the Crowd-Funded Product at any time in our sole discretion, including as a result of an actual or suspected violation of these Terms of Use.
Estimated Shipping Date
For the Crowd-Funded Products, the date listed on the Site is an estimate of when the Crowd-Funded Products are expected to ship – not a guarantee to fulfill by that date. The schedule may change as production on the Crowd-Funded Products continues. Some projects or orders may contain multiple shipments. In these cases, you will see two estimated shipment dates.
Returns and Refunds
If your product arrives damaged due to transit or fails to comply in all material respects with the published specifications for the product, you may request a return within 30 days of delivery for a replacement or a refund by contacting Customer Service at by emailing [email protected], by calling 1-800-704-8697 Monday – Friday 8:00am – 4:00pm CST, or by visiting us.tomy.com/contact-us/. Replacement is subject to availability. We cannot accept for return or replacement any item that has been opened, unless it arrived damaged. If a refund is issued, the purchase price of the item plus applicable sales tax will be credited. You will be responsible to pay the return shipping costs. All eligible refunds are made to the original form of payment.
TOMY offers a 12-month limited warranty on select crowd-funded products from the date of shipment under normal and intended use and service against defective workmanship and material. If our product fails to meet our limited warranty, we will, at our option, replace the product free of charge, or provide you with a replacement of comparable value.
This warranty does not apply in cases of damage in transit, inadequate care or neglect, abuse, abnormal use, misuse, accidents, normal wear and tear, damage due to environmental or natural elements, failure to follow product instructions, immersion in water (except for the Products specifically identified by us in writing as intended for water use), battery leakage or improper installation, improper storage or maintenance of the Products, or improper service or causes not arising out of defects in materials and workmanship.
